This print is beautiful. It's a commonly depicted subject, but it is very special. The composition, tonal quality, and movement are exceptional and evocative. The piece is true to it's title... breathtaking!

I have wanted this for my pro life bulletin board at my Catholic Church and I wasn’t disappointed. It is beautiful and it has so much meaning put in a picture. A picture speaks better then words and this picture says it all. Thanks

About Mick Anderson
While in college, Mick had the opportunity to work at St. Mary Lodge at the east entrance to Glacier National Park in Montana. It was in this magical place where he met several fellow students from other parts of the country who would change the direction of his life by introducing Mick to nature, the mountains, the guitar and singing, fly fishing, writing music, hiking, and -- most importantly -- the Single Lens Reflex camera! He had a chance to play with Pentacon, Yashica, Pentax, Nikon and other brands, leading cameras of the day. It opened up a whole new way of looking at the world, and started a hobby that quickly grew into a passion that has stood the test of many years. His first “real” camera was a Yashica “Electro-35”...

Thanks Erica! Here's what worked... camera set in manual mode, manual focus too. Set lens at infinity; f32 (my highest); 450mm lens, 1/4000 sec; wait until there is a little cloudiness -- the clear sky provided a sun too bright! ISO at lowest setting, 100 in my case. VERY IMPORTANT... I use a Sony SLT where NO sunlight reaches the viewfinder -- too dangerous for the eyes! Also, use a ND filter if you have one :) Clean up the image in Photoshop... There, now you know :)
